Eastman Kodak – Rochester, NY
Department Head of several units in Kodak’s optics manufacturing division, including Lens Assembly, Optical Coating, Plastic Lens Molding, Precision Glass Molding, Mechanized Lens Assembly, and Special Optics Fabrication. Supervised as many as 400 employees with an annual operating budget of several million dollars. These departments fabricated lenses and lens assemblies from a few millimeters to over six feet in diameter at production volumes from one of a kind to over a million per month. Led teams of engineers and technicians to increase production, improve quality, and reduce costs. Project Manager for a spare Primary Mirror for the Hubble Space Telescope. This mirror is now in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC.
University of Arizona – Tucson, Az
Managed Steward Observatory Mirror Laboratory, a world-class facility involved in casting, grinding, and polishing the world’s largest glass mirrors for ground-based telescopes. Supervised engineers and technicians in mold assembly, casting, grinding, and polishing of large glass mirrors. Wrote proposals for multi-million dollar contracts for the production of mirrors ranging in diameter up to 8.4 meters that took many years to complete at a cost of nearly ten million dollars each.

Project Manager at the Center for Optics Manufacturing. Responsible for the development of processes and equipment for high precision fabrication of aspherical lenses. Wrote monthly progress reports on many government contracts.

The RDGA covered a 9-county region in Western, NY with a population of several million people and 64 member clubs. The RDGA administered over 25 tournaments each year. I was trained to officiate these events, having attended two PGA Rules Schools as part of my training. Served on the RDGA Board of Directors for seven years as Treasurer.
TAMPA BAY GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Served on TBGCC Golf Committee for four years as Handicap Chairman. Put together analysis of TBGCC hole handicaps and headed group to make changes to hole ratings. Served as President of the TBGCC Men’s Golf Association.
