Caring and proficient Certified Surgical Technologist with 13 years of experience. I also obtained my Associates degree after completion of my CST certification. Adept at handling instruments, supplies, and equipment for a multitude of procedures. Well versed in all operating room activities with a commitment to upholding the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures. As much as I love the technical part of my job I also believe in giving comfort to the patient, either by introducing myself or simply holding their hand as they are undergoing induction. Highly interested in weekends or nights as well. I’ve scrubbed a good number of C-hysts and hundreds of Gyn, Uro Gyn, and Gyn Oncology procedures with many of the OU surgeons over the years and have 3 years of trauma nightshift experience. My ultimate goal and dream is to work L&D nightshift. That is where I found my love for surgery, when my daughter was delivered by C-section.

Over the years I’ve developed what I like to term “OR ears”, which means an off sound like desatting or the bovie getting leaned against or the sound of suctioning ramping up etc. are things that I notice and pay attention to.
