Skills and Qualifications

My experience and education are primarily in the areas of Structural Engineering, Safety and Management; I pride myself in being highly motivated, well organized, accurate, and ready to accept challenges. I feel my excellent communication and creative problem solving skills, in addition to my ability work independently will be an asset to any organization. My technical knowledge includes the following: organizing sub – contractors, in the proper sequence, per scopes of work. Well versed on blue prints for all scopes from site to turnkey, I am computer literate (Word Perfect, Excel, Microsoft Outlook); also skilled on producing production graphs, written daily reports and administering oral sub meetings; daily and weekly with meeting minutes, as well as dealing with the owners on punch out items.

Employment History

April 2015 – Present Titanium Builders / TB Excavations

Project Manager/ Q/C. responsible for overseeing the projects in the North Dakota area, generating daily reports, weekly reports per job and punch list. From the underground utilities along with completing the Apartment complex’s at (Hunters’ Run) and (Dakota Acres).

October 2012 – April 2015 Daron’s Construction Solutions LLC

Operation Manager, responsible for overseeing Estimating, Bidding, Field Engineering, Form Work, Pouring concrete, Framing, Drywall and Punch out; Managing 20 crew-members, ordering equipment and materials. My Company is currently preforming contracts for the City of Pensacola and Area Housing Commission.

April 2010 – 2012 PBrown Builders LLC

Site Maritime Park

A General Contractor that worked on the Maritime Park here in Pensacola, my position is Senior Project Manager. The first job at the Maritime Park was the Site, cleared 28 acres, taking the site down to elevation 9’, from the varies existing grades, which some were as highest elevation 20. Once at elevation 9’, clean fill was transported in, which was installed to achieve elevation 12’.

A Soil Basin was a part of the site contract as well; the dimensions were 475’ x 275’.

Bulkhead Maritime Park

The job was to reinforce, form and pour 2100’ LF of Bulkhead, by excavating, retro-fitting the rebar at various sizes; 4’ x 6’ X 4’ x 6’ and 4’ x 6’ X 10’, some portion of the bulkhead was 3’ under water prior to the pour.

Amphitheater Maritime Park

We installed the horizontal and vertical reinforcement, as well as post tension cables, to the existing form work.

Ft. Pickens National Park

Worked on reinforce the fort, by demoing out concrete, installing rebar and later pour concrete back into the areas. 20,000 sf.

Morris Courts

We remolded 10 units with the Escambia County “Area Housing Commission”, demo, added a mechanical closet, new roof, wall, flooring and bathroom with (1) handicap accessible bathroom. Also there was a handicap parking area created with a holding pond.

Feb 2008 – July 2009 Hoar

Berry Steam Plant

A General Contractor that works on Southern Company Projects, my position was QA/QC & Safety Manager. Projects consist of establishing grade and layout, excavating, forming, reinforcing and pouring the following areas: JBR, Limestone Slurry, Make up Water Tank and the foundation for the Stack, (5 Months) February to June.

Plant Miller

I worked at Plant Miller, project at Plant Miller included: Limestone Slurry, Absorber 1, 2, 3 and 4, Return Water, Electrical Building, Limestone Slurry’s Sump, “U” drains, Slab on Grade, Curbs, Catch Basin and Caisson Piers as well as an Underground Electrical Corridor.

2002 – 2008 Professional Concepts

As the Construction Company owner, we completed many projects ranging from Residential to Commercial. I employed (1) Project Manager, (3) Superintendents, (6) Foreman’s and a total of 35 men. The Projects includes “Harbor Walk Resort & Condominium” in Destin Florida, also “The Dome of a Home” located on Pensacola Beach.

1999 – 2001 Yates

A General Contractor Specializing in High Rise Condominiums, Quality Control Superintendent; review all subcontractors’ installation agreements for configuration, accuracy and content. Complete responsibility for all subcontractors, which includes production of installation reports and perform daily inspections, proofing engineered plans prior to the work being performed, during and after.
