DURIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspection of the premises on daily basis for identification and elimination of activities/situations that may be regarded as potential hazards and follow up on closure of actions raised.

Monitoring of contractors’ activities for compliance to the HS guidelines and Permit to Work system.

Follow up on Health and Safety Statutory Audits as per the requirements.

Ensure plant and machinery safety (Follow up and Maintaining routine inspections and servicing).

Ensure that all new employees and contractors are inducted as per the induction program.

Follow up on the employees’ Health and Safety KPIs performance.

Assist in departmental review of the Standard Operating Procedures.

Conducting Route Cause Analysis.

Monthly reporting on Health and Safety Performance.

Maintenance of first-aid and welfare facilities and also maintain accident statistics.

Ensure all EHS committee members, fire marshals and first aiders are appropriately trained as per the Requirements.

Issue PPE’s regularly, maintain records and enforce proper usage. Regular inspection of the PPEs.
