Arizona Pipeline Company, Anaheim - Infrastructure Tech/ Class A Truck Driver

April 2023- PRESENT

Revealed and replaced old, damaged, underground structures such as

“coffin boxes”, wearing rubber gloves, boots, and an FR coverall meeting safety standards. Used a concrete saw to cut concrete, asphalt, and risers to replace on vaults and manholes. Working in confined spaces using cement and grout to finish the inside of vaults, and practicing safety protocol by using a 4-gas detector to ensure a safe working environment. Used various heavy equipment such as mini excavators to dig trenches to install conduit and backfill with either “slurry” or base. Assisted operators with trenching operations by spotting and having direct contact with them at all times to avoid hits of any unmarked utilities. Initiated many tailboards with Line crews to ensure the safest and most efficient way to complete a task. Assisted line crews by safely using a hand line to supply them with tools, hardware, and other various materials. Helped with crane lifting operations to backfill poles with Pete gravel, and provided basic labor assistance. As a driver I drive a flatbed dump truck hauling various materials to aid Line crews as well as material for my crew such as cement bags, asphalt, gravel, conduit, “missile” for underground boring, air hoses, plywood, “sono tubes”, super bags, and hydraulic shoring, Also haul, and operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, mini excavators, etc.

Revealed and buried underground structures such as pull boxes, man holes, and vaults as well as installing conduit and pulling rope. Also installed chains as a safety measure to the inside of the vault. Worked around live electrical structures. Worked alongside Groundman and Journeyman to accomplish similar objectives. Utilized a mandrel, hydraulic shoring, and various hand tools when trenching by hand or with heavy equipment. As a driver I use a 10-wheel dump truck hauling a backhoe, skid steer, paver and roller. Load and unload heavy equipment then load dirt and similar materials onto my dump truck. Installed asphalt using a paver and roller compactor. “Cap and Grind” using skid steer grinder attachment.
