Summary Objective
I am currently looking for employment within the Facilities/HVAC fields including Commercial, Light Industrial and Residential markets. I have 20+ years experience with all levels of the trade from new construction to repair with residential, commercial package units, and chill water systems. I have extensive experience in field service and supervision of all HVAC systems and staff for multi-structure commercial campuses. I am seeking a position in the HVAC industry where my skill set will be beneficial to both me and my employer.

Mechanical Superintendent
I was brought in mid-construction to complete the mechanical/HVAC portion of a large commercial housing project that was over budget and seriously behind deadline. Responsibilities included reading blueprints, oversight of equipment installation and start up, forecasting material and manpower requirements, managing sub-contractors, preparing for and passing all required inspections, daily reporting requirements to project manager(s), acting as the on-site point of contact for mechanical for the general contractor, owners, inspectors, other trades, etc. This project will be wrapping up in mid to late August and additional projects would require relocation which I am not interested in at this time.

Took over father’s commercial HVAC business after his passing in August 2016. In the last 18 months I have designed, installed and/or serviced over 500+ tons of air in multiple commercial applications as well as handling the residential side of the business as needed. Daily responsibilities require managing all aspects of the business including bidding, job costing, installation, sub-contractor oversight and management of both commercial and residential customers.

Re-recruited by employer on a corporate level to oversee maintenance staff of 150+ techs covering 47 commercial office buildings throughout the Houston market. Responsibilities included hiring, retention and termination of staff, maintaining budgetary goals, managing outside vendors, inventory control, managing all city and safety inspections, managing any emergency situations as needed and implementing employee training and safety meetings as required.

Responsible for four 6-story office buildings including supervision of all projects from landscaping to structural systems. 240-ton chill water system, 84 VAVs and pneumatic thermostats and side-pocket heaters, elevators, fire systems, domestic water pumps per building. Supervised a staff of seven maintenance techs.
