HAD EXPERIENCE IN DESIGNING SOFTWARE FOR SURGERY SUITES, ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS AND MEDICAL BILLING
Always thought of deigning equipment for making surgical procedures more efficient. My first design was while in residency Richards was making hip compression screw and plate for fixing hip fractures. The coupling of plate and screw was technically difficult and I thought an extension rod screwed into the top of the screw would make sliding plate easier. This device was later updated with that rad extension. While practicing in North Carolina I designed a expandable intervertebral cage and had plans drawn and submitted to EBI . this product was later developed by them with modifications . for both these I products i was not the ultimate inventor and did not receive credit
In 1996 I designed OR One a soft ware platform for performing all different functions in an operating suite.
This soft ware was designed by me and was produced and in few hospitals it was adopted.
In 2006 I developed a orthopedic web site “ orthozoom”
The purpose of this web site was to be a one stop resource for all orthopedic surgeons both for procedures and equipment
It is now being updated and would include orthopedic resource for patients seeking orthopedic care
2017 developed smart phone App for medical billing including ICD and CPT coding. This product is in market under the name Jott MD.

I was involved as a council member for American Academy of Orthopedic surgeons in communication cabinet for seven years.
During this time involved in promoting several campaigns initiated by AAOS.
I have volunteered for teaching assignments in India in orthopedic surgey departments in two universities. Currently I am a visiting professor in Andhra Medical college in department of orthopedic surgery.

In conclusion I have been always involved in designing various products since the beginning of my residency training and continued throughout my orthopedic career.
These includes orthopedic equipment helpful in surgery and medical software helpful in Operating rooms, clinical practice, helpful programs for patients and latest in that effort is the current wearable medical device that would accurately measure radiation exposure for health care workers.
