* OBJECTIVE *

I am seeking employment as a Civil Engineer /Structural Designer. Industries include commercial and residential building construction / maintenance refurbishment, brownfield site plan development, subdivisions, plant maintenance, crane design. Duties of detailing steel frames and concrete foundations. Pre-engineered RF, (pick steel & concrete.) I perform Civil /Structural design works related to commercial structures & site plan development.

I work as a member of engineering teams, as consulting or construction/design-build auspice for owners in the private which services include design build contracting and consulting. Projects include civil & commercial building structures, including site planning, erosion control, pre-post storm water/ sanitary piping/ management facility design. (Infrastructure, roads, and piping networks).

The design methods employed with conformance to Building construction-UBC, IBC, Concrete-ACI-318, AISC 360 Steel, CMAA cranes.

Work also includes horizontal and site plan development and grading with surveying support included within ACAD Civil 3d software. Site plan development includes lot layout, Logistic support areas (LSA’s) subdivision layout, and municipalities with Cad production drawings.

Intergovernmental Cost estimates (IGCE) generate a bill of materials for concrete and steel detailing. Experience in writing SOWS and IGCE and five years in LOGCAP and AFCAP design build or augmentation projects as a field engineer.

I have practiced with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) for Military Departments; for over ten years in the field working on engineering teams.

I’ve been working with and in the skilled building trades for twenty (20) years including holding a Civil General Foreman position and Engineer in Training certificate. The work includes the planning and performance stages of construction and site plan development.

I worked as Civil/Structural Engineer. I wrote an IDIQ (indefinite delivery, quantities) specifications for paving and wrote sows for PWS (performance work statement) engineering construction for the base. The standard and specifications including concrete and asphalt paving, for LSA’s and airfield. I designed footers and concrete foundations for Metal Building Systems and Pre- engineered buildings.

Assisted in site plan development for roads, culverts and for a water distribution network and Pump house design which included a system/pump curve for a new water distribution plan for the base.

I performed residential subdivision layout with AutoCAD civil 3d software. Work included the construction horizontal grading of plats, creating surfaces, and set erosion control of plats with drainage ponds and piping. I worked as contractor being the site manager and engineering team leader. I was responsible for timely submittal of design documents to the Commanding officer’s representative (COR) of our assigned U.S. Air force unit. My work included the Civil & Structural disciplines along with being the site subject matter expert in paving and PEB’s foundations. I performed design submittal drawings and design build construction specifications in the form of SOWS. (Scope of work) Work included as built inclusion of base mapping, maintenance and refurbish of buildings projects. I aided the Project Controls Engineer with duties including 1) Detective part of taking contractors receipts and comparing to schedule for detecting fraud or abuse. 2) inspection verifying submitted drawings are up to Dept of State and IBC & UFC specs. 3)corrective action for schedule delays by negotiating independently as consultant / mitigator between the designer and the contractor, for effective in augmenting Project planning and site plan development.
