OBJECTIVE

Electronics Engineer or Technician in which I would use my hands-on electronic skills and knowledge to design, construct, test, and troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices, printed circuit boards, fixtures, and assemblies.

SUMMARY

BS graduate in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology with over 1.5 years of experience as an Application Engineer responsible for the programming, graphic/user interface building, and designing of HVAC control systems for commercial buildings. Then 1.5 years as a Test Technician for testing automatic transfer switches (ATS) and switchgear (power transfer control systems), testing various functions, testing and troubleshooting SCADA and PLC programs, connecting test equipment and wiring test fixtures, troubleshooting faults and correcting them, as well as correction of engineering mistakes. Then 1.5 years as a Technician with experience in assembling, calibrating, and testing high-precision military-grade optical rotary encoders ranging from 32 count/turn incremental units to high-precision 24-bit absolute encoders. Then 2.5 years experience as a Metrology Technician performing calibration of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, frequency counters, micrometers, torque wrenches, etc.

For many years I have been an electronics hobbyist. I have built and designed electronic devices. I have designed and soldered PCBs, designed and built a talking clock using a PIC microcontroller, a talking thermometer using a PIC and EPROM, and other electronic projects, programmed microcontrollers (in C), designed digital logic circuitry, and repaired many electronic/mechanical devices.

I really enjoy working with electronics at the component level.
