What is an HRBP?

An HRBP is your partner and guide as you begin

your journey with Godiva. Your HRBP can be a source of information regarding HR policies, procedures and protocols… a sounding board to listen to you when

needed.

General Topics to be Covered i

What is working? What is not working? How can

the Onboarding program be improved? Do you

need anything? What are your impressions of

Godiva? What are we doing well? What can be

done better? Share a bit about yourselves – your

hobbies, your prior experiences, etc. Outstanding

questions you have about the organization, our

business or your department.

Your assimilation schedule recommends you

have a 30-60-90-day check-in with your Human

Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Let’s give you some context on what

the HRBP is responsible for and the expectation

of those meetings.

90-day – Optional, if you want to continue the conversation. You can determine if another HRBP meeting would be beneficial to you. Perhaps you want more clarity on Objective Setting or you have some questions on company culture. This session is designed to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to schedule it, but if you feel you are on a good path, you can cancel as you go through your assimilation process. What should you cover in your HRBP meetings?

30-day – How’s it Going?

This is a general rapport building meeting for you and your HRPB to get to know each other. During this meeting you can review how your assimilation is going.

60-day – The HR People Practices.

Continue your rapport building and check in to see if everything is still going well. If there are concerns, please know you can count on your HRBP to help you. During this meeting, the HRPB will cover The Godiva People practices – The Global Performance Management process and Talent Review. Your development is important to you and to us. We want to make sure you are aware of these processes and how best to invest in them.
