• Prior to working in hospitality, I worked with children and adults with special needs.

• By leading the delivery of VIP service for customers expecting an exceptional experience I ensured that great food, drink, and warm, gracious hospitality were delivered in such a way as to make every guest feel at home.
• As a hospitality consultant, I have done location assessments. I have created cost analysis procedures and computing methods. These systems provided the owners of different establishments with real time information regarding costs of operation. It also provided them with a basis to evaluate and improve menus, staffing, purchasing, and operational procedures.
In March of 2021 the new bar and grill I helped open as a consultant closed due to the pandemic. I went to work for the U.S. Postal Service, Santa Cruz office as a carrier, dispatcher and then a supervisor. I did this for one year and then returned to the hospitality industry. I filled a position as a manager at the SpiceKlub in Cupertino Ca. I was offered a Food and Beverage Manager position at Costanoa Resort, where I added a new venue a wine bar and streamlined and improved all food and beverage delivery systems at the resort. After the summer ended revenue dropped off and I was laid off, the position was filled by someone who lived in an RV on the property at a much lower salary. I then opened a new concept restaurant and bar for Santa Cruz Sky Corporation Alderwood Pacific in 28 days. The organization was unable to renew their lease and the facility closed. I went to work for Go Best as a Food and Beverage Director at their Paradise Lounge and Grill location in San Diego. After three months the person I was reporting to was changed with a new person. I found that my potential for growth became limited, so I moved on for better opportunities. I am looking for a long-term full-time management position within the hospitality field to utilize my talents and skill set to add greater success working in a managerial capacity.
I am very experienced in hiring, training and evaluating individuals and teams in order to achieve a synchronized, and welcoming revenue producing venue. I am skilled at orchestrating entertainment and service persons to create an unforgettable experience for guests. This includes the real time resolution of guest issues, writing of job descriptions, evaluation criteria, and operating procedures for bars, restaurants, and casinos. I excel at evaluating an operations workflow and in refining systems to produce efficient methods to optimize revenue and ensure the efficient delivery of VIP hospitality.
