Brief Description:

The insulin Glargine gene was cloned into an expression vector containing a promoter, signal sequence, and other elements necessary for protein expression in Pichia pastoris. The vector was transformed into Pichia pastoris cells and high-expressing clones were selected using screening techniques. Expression of the insulin glargine protein was optimized by adjusting culture conditions, media composition, and induction strategies.

Gene Cloning: The first step is to obtain the gene sequence for insulin Glargine and clone it into an appropriate expression vector. The vector may contain a promoter, signal sequence, and other elements to drive expression of the gene in Pichia pastoris.
