What I did at the job:
I would stock the shelves in the back and stock the shelves on the sales floor. I would also do cashier something when I was put up in the front. I would ask if the person found everything ok that they were looking for then perceived to scam their item, next I would tell them the total ask if their paying cash or card and continue bagging. then give them the receipt and tell them to have a nice day. I would also clean the store like sweeping, wiping down windows, and picking up trash during the early morning or during closing.
