Work/Research Experience

Summer of 2022: NSF MRSEC Program

oTook place in Austin Texas at Cockrell School of Engineering. The project I was tasked with was titled “A Signal Element Mid-Wave Infrared Imager”, and it was comprised of building an imaging setup to test the imaging capabilities of a newly developed sensor by the Wasserman Group. Using Python, I managed to control motorized stages in an automatic manner. I also designed a mold for a sensor with AutoCAD.

Summer of 2023: NSF MRSEC: CEM Program

oTook place in Columbus Ohio at The Ohio State University. I was tasked with developing a program that would measure the distance between atoms to quantify the strain in the lattice structure at material interfaces between substrate and thin film.
