DALLAS COUNTY– Dallas, TX February 2016 to Present Vital Statistics Manager

Manage the overall business operations of the Vital Statistics Division at Dallas County. Perform specialized duties involved in processing and maintaining vital records and County documents. Responsible for development, maintenance and compliance of Vital Records transactional procedures and policies. Evaluates existing procedures and recommends efficiency- based improvements. • Manage and supervise the Vital Statistics staff consisting of 14 direct reports and approximately 120 staff members at various satellite locations.

• Provide staff with yearly performance appraisals, career development, and training.

• Meet regularly with supervisory staff to address operational concerns, issues, planning, and to promote efficiencies.

• Monitor and approve time off request as well as ensure all staff time is accurate in payroll tracking system (KRONOS).
