Emergency Alarm Dispatcher

· My responsibilities were to watch, oversee and react to the alarm monitoring system and when an alarm came across the screen, you would handle it with dominance and crucial strength

· When an alarm went off I was required to handle each alarm differently with very strict protocol from the company's end, and from the customers end also, they both had certain things that had to be done right away, We needed to decide if the

Fire, Paramedics or Police were warranted and/or needed for the Alarm that was the 1st thing we did on our end, usually.

· The 2nd thing we had to do was to maintain control of the situation, so I could then assess, and begin to deescalate the situation and make sure that the customer, on the end of this alarm is happy with the outcome and with our response time most importantly, the reasoning behind the importance of the paramount response time was because our customers were always the utmost critical asset we had and without them the company would never survive.

•I was responsible to review and disperse cash, chips etc. to every Department on the casino

•I had numerous reports throughout the day that I was required to complete and to balance and then to input into the casino computer system, after that the reports were then forwarded to the accounting department to check my accuracy, if I was not accurate I would be issued an ICR and depending on the severity of the issue I also could be suspended from work, so accuracy and proficiency in your daily work ethic was definitely a must in order to do this position correctly

•Additionally I was required to handle and disperse any and all monies when needed.

•I collected various forms of paperwork from the customer via the cages, the tables and other various departments both on and off the casino.

•I answered a multi-line phone system with most calls coming from within the casino, I transferred many calls to where the Customer needed to be.

•I then balanced the entire casinos monetary and non monetary cash flow, i.e

•Variance forms, Jackpot pay-outs etc.

•I also filled out various other forms I counted and Balanced my Bank,

•The MAIN Bank, which usually contained at least 5 million dollars in cash and chips and I then input the information into the casino computer system

•I ultimately forwarded everything I did throughout the day to the accounting department for my worktop be double checked and properly filed in the accounting Departments archives

•I took the main Banker position on the casino because I really thoroughly enjoyed the Tunnel vision focus, the constant pressure and the unrelenting paperwork you had to do all day long, that pressure that is on you to make sure everything is running smoothly, just knowing that you are the one who is in charge of the whole entire casinos monetary supply and replenishment, that position is what made me realize that I am special, I am an Intelligent individual and I continue to strive for the closest possibility a person can come to perfection and to keep up the great work.
