I started in caregiving when i was 15 in nursing homes.Worked in hospitals till I graduated from high school.Went to Ricks College and started nursing for a year moved to Provo to assist my sister in taking care of her kids.Worked at American Fork Hospital and I took care of the children in the unit where they had been abused and hurt.Back then you really had no options to help the kids .I knew that was a long time ago but I have worked in all departments I was a float in lots of area pediatric patients and older patients were my favorite.I took off 15 years at the casino because my heart was broken my last patient was a little boy and he had seizures every 5 to 10 minutes very hard and you fall in love with the family and baby.I held him and we danced to music it is hard now to listen to Eric Clapton When he passed I bought a tree and we planted it on the yard.I loved my job but just needed a change worked in a casino you didn't have your heart broken and I got to cut off customers from to much alcohol.I would love to work as a caregiver and get my CNA license here I had a licensed for Oregon and Washington.!
