COVER LETTER — Gourmet Food / Delivery ****

My cooking experience consists mostly of vegetarian cooking including salads, soups, sandwiches, line cooking, and baking. In the past I have worked at the San Francisco Zen Center where all the food is made in house and is vegetarian or vegan. Furthermore, I continued to expand my cooking, packaging, and food knowledge and skills at the Mississippi Market Co-op Central Kitchen in St. Paul, MN where I worked for three years. At Mississippi Market I maintained close knit relationships with my co-workers and attempted to see the overall picture in addition to offering support as needed. After that I trained at the Water Street Inn which is located in Stillwater MN, and the other at the Edina Country Club also in Minnesota. At both locations I specialized in salads. At that point I also started training on line cooking.

As far as food and liquor delivery, my focus has been in organic and prepared foods, cheese, and beer. In the past I have worked for Veritable Vegetable delivering organic produce industry as a class B route driver in San Francisco, California. Also I was a box truck driver for Olive Works delivering gourmet olives also in the Bay Area. In addition I was a delivery driver for the deli food at Mississippi Market Co-op. My food and delivery knowledge has mostly been focused on metropolitan areas but also includes outlying routes.
