WORK HISTORY CROP RESEARCH SCIENTIST-WHEAT BREEDER AND GENETICIST Seed and Plant Improvement Institute (SPII) Karadj, Iran Over the course of my career, I had the privilege of coordinating the winter and facultative wheat breeding program in Iran for two decades. During this tenure, my program partnered with the International Winter Wheat Improvement Program (IWWIP) of International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Turkey, underlining my commitment to global collaborative efforts in wheat research. I am proud to have developed and released 17 bread wheat varieties that exhibit enhanced yields, resistance and tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and improved quality traits. These varieties have found cultivation across various regions of Iran, making a significant impact on local agricultural practices.
