My passion for crop research, cooperation with the most important agricultural research center in the world i.e., International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) combined with my practical experience in wheat breeding (by releasing 17 bread wheat varieties) and teaching as an adjunct professor at university as well uniquely positions me to contribute to research and development initiatives in my field of expertise and related areas. I am confident in my ability to drive innovation, explore novel solutions, and make meaningful contributions to the company or institution’s mission. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Improvement and release of 17 bread wheat varieties under normal irrigation and drought stress conditions that exhibit enhanced yields, resistance and tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and improved quality traits. These varieties have found cultivation across various regions of Iran, making a significant impact on local agricultural practices and national food security.

WORK HISTORY CROP RESEARCH SCIENTIST-WHEAT BREEDER AND GENETICIST Seed and Plant Improvement Institute (SPII) Karadj, Iran Over the course of my career, I had the privilege of coordinating the winter and facultative wheat breeding program in Iran for two decades. During this tenure, my program partnered with the International Winter Wheat Improvement Program (IWWIP) of International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Turkey, underlining my commitment to global collaborative efforts in wheat research. I am proud to have developed and released 17 bread wheat varieties that exhibit enhanced yields, resistance and tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and improved quality traits. These varieties have found cultivation across various regions of Iran, making a significant impact on local agricultural practices.
