Med-Surg registered nurse at physician regional Pine Ridges, Naples FL.

At this hospital, I am currently a registered nurse working in the med surg unit specializing in neuroSurgery Care. And I am taking care most of the time of patient with TIA, epilepsy/seizures, meningitis, CIWA patient stroke patient, spinal cord injury patient and I do, sometimes, prepare patient before they get for surgery ( like brain surgery, lumbar surgery, cervical surgery…) We also taking care of patient with Diverticulosis, crohn disease, cirrhosis, CKD… And for the elderly patient we taking a lot care of patient with cognitive disorder/psychiatric disorder, Parkinson’s disease and patient with history of falls that are associates with head trauma or hemorhage.

Health equity international is an non governmental institution where I worked as a nurse in the infectious disease department. More often, I take care of patient with AIDS/HIV,tuberculosis, anthrax, diphtheria, tetanus, rabies; and caring for this patient are very challenging because most of this disease are related to severes complications and two of them like tetanus and rabies cannot be healed. My job in this department is to enhance the conditions of my patient by caring physically, mentally, and spiritualy their needs as long as I execute the Doctor prescription and the nursing skills like putting an IV and urinary catheter or nasogastric tube, suctioning, making a dressing, medication administration, performing an EKG etc. And also, the education of my patient are maintained at bedside and when there are getting discharge.
