Please accept my resume for review on this position. I am looking for a job that is interesting, challenging, and rewarding. A job that I look forward to meeting new challenges every day. One where I can improve someone else’s expectations of their capacity to learn how to learn new processes and where overcoming obstacles is a team effort. I believe my experience in a variety of technical subject areas qualifies me for this position. I know I can deliver a unique combination of applied theory and practical hands-on experience to this position.

As a graduate student in Quality Assurance I learned to facilitate the assimilation of technical subject matter by non-technical personnel. In May of 2010 I completed a Masters in Technology Based Education at CSU Dominguez Hills. As an Engineer and Educator I have consistently met or exceeded the expectations of my supervisors to resolve complex technical tasks under the most demanding environments.

I worked my way through college as an Apprentice Tool Designer at McDonnell Douglas and Northrop Advanced Systems (B-2). Since then, I have worked as a Tool Design Engineer in special test equipment (STE) and as an adjunct faculty at three Community College districts in Southern California as well as one full year as a full-time Advanced Manufacturing Instructor at Mid-South Community College. My technical support experience includes designing and documenting standard operation procedures (SOP) and calibration procedures for STE as well as updating and developing new curriculum to meet the ever-changing demands of our technology driven culture in order to deliver a continuous supply of skilled human resources to local industries. Some of my achievements include:

* Designed and developed instructional systems (ISD) under contract for the US Coast Guard Training Center, Petaluma. As a member of the ISD group I developed step action tables for training apprentice seamen in Electronics Technology “A” school to perform planned maintenance on marine antenna systems using a Bird Model 43, calculating VSWR, and performing Hi-Pot tests.

* Completed an 85-day temporary assigned duty as Adjunct Afloat aboard the USCG Cutter RUSH teaching classes in Computer System and Sensors using Vex Robotic Kits and Industrial Shipboard Safety in a demanding inclement sub-zero environment while on patrol in the North Pacific and Bering Sea, Alaska, during the winter of 2011-2012.

* Designing and implementing an autonomous, stand-alone, Computer Based Training (CBT) application using Adobe Director 11 using Lingo (JavaScript) to teach students how to interpret resistor color codes and how to convert the codes to scientific notation.

* Further graduate research in Quality Assurance into the design, implementation, and delivery of online laboratory curriculum in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM) using tele-robotic controlled laboratory equipment via the internet augmented with real-time video over IP using LabVIEW.

* Worked as the Co-op Work Experience field coordinator for Coastline College for five years.

* Coordinated the storage, calibration and re-certification of aircraft avionic spare parts, line replaceable units (LRU), for the C-17 receiving test equipment warehouse during the initial phase of C-17 production.
