EDUCATION

New York University, Tandon School of Engineering Sep 2023 - May 2025 Master of Science in Computer Engineering

Chongqing University, National Elite institute of Engineering Sep 2019 - Jul 2023 Bachelor of Science in Intelligent Vehicle Programming/Vehicle Engineering, GPA:3.9 SKILLS

Programming Language: C++, Python, Go, SQL, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript Framework & Library: Tensorflow, PyTorch, FastAPI, Django, REST API, Tortoise-ORM, Gin, gRPC, Kafka, AWS Tools: Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Hadoop, LLVM, MATLAB, Prescan, ROS WORK EXPERIENCE

Software Development Engineer Intern, Quible.io, New York Nov 2023 - Feb 2024

Developed and maintained back-end service of the Quible App, primarily focusing on developing the authentication and mailing delivery micro service using Go and gRPC.

Stored user profiling and app version data on PostgreSQL database, utilized DBeaver for data querying and visualization, deployed SQLBoiler to generate Object Relation Mappings for the application, reaching 150MB/s peak time throughput.

Designed and implemented Restful APIs for register and login functionality, utilized AWS KMS for authentication and authorization.

Programmed and embedded automated integration tests using Insomnia to the deployment pipeline, deployed the application using Docker.

Participated in on-call rotation, contributed to Jira task and technical documentation. Backend Development Engineer Intern, Shanghai MRS Ltd. May 2023 - Jul 2023

Led the full development cycle, from design, implementation and release for a task distribution App and launched the App to 300 internal users.

Stored real-time users and task data to MySQL database and used Tortoise for asyncio ORM, improved task table schema to reduce redundancy.

Implemented Restful APIs to integrate the application with external enterprise collaboration service using Python on Django framework.

Developed auto-completion for user search, scheduled data sync and snapshot functionality between the internal tables and external service.

Research Engineer, Tsinghua Berkeley RIOS Lab, Prof : David Patterson Jun 2022 - Aug 2022

Proposed and applied instruction scheduling(llvm machine scheduler) optimization for PicoRio2.0(a RISC-V architecture CPU) using LLVM(C++), developed and conducted experiments using compiler data research.

Verified the functionality of the optimization on CPU simulator model and developed unit tests, achieving a 40% performance improvement with RISCV-Test benchmark, contributing to the open source community(Github). PROJECTS & RESEARCH

Construction of Car Cloud Communication Website Based on TLS (Github) Jan 2023 - Mar 2023

Built a web application for secure car cloud communication using Go, Gin as the framework and the TLS as the encryption protocol.

Developed and optimized C++ code for ROS and SDK to enable reliable real-time data capture for “ScoutMini” autonomous vehicle, ensuring 10Hz refresh rate for key metrics including vehicle ID, battery level, sensor data.

Utilized MySQL database to store car metadata and built back-end APIs to support data transmission between servers.

Enabled frontend communication with Gin and serialized MySQL data to JSON format for data transmission. Carnegie Mellon: Prediction of Steering Wheel Angle at Night based on CNN Aug 2022 - Oct 2022

Designed and implemented a RestNet-based CNN model using Torch to predict vehicle angle at night.

Pre-processed images HSV transformation to simulate nighttime images and employed data augmentation to avoid overfitting, trained the model using HPC server and processed over 22TB dataset, reduced model training time by 35%.

Enhanced model depth to 20 with ResNet by employing skip connections, mitigating vanishing gradients, and boosting learning efficacy for prediction task.

Achieved significant performance improvement with 12% lower RMSE, MAE, and MSE values compared to the baseline.

Published the paper: Prediction of Steering Wheel Angle at Night based on CNN(IEEE) in AIID2022.
