UPSTREAM Maintain Potential Project (MPP) offshore projects:

Design all the Electrical drawings.

Provide Material Take-Off from a database program MPPTOCES. Select and evaluate materials in accordance with international ANSI, NEC etc. and as per SAUDI ARAMCO standards.

Resolve Interference and Clash reports thru Inter-Disciplinary Drawing checks like Intra-Discipline and Inter-Squad Checks.

Design activities associated with Design supervision and basic co-ordination of Multi-discipline project CADD activities.

Maintain Potential Program (MPP) Project (Saudi Aramco): Worked on various offshore oil fields for installing on the new facilities and upgrading existing facilities for offshore oilfields namely Safaniyah, Zuluf, Marjan, Abu-Safa, Berri etc for the installation of MPFM Multiphase Flowmeter, PDHMS Permanent Downhole Monitoring System, RTU, ESD, Solar platforms with new Solar panels Installation as well as upgrade to the existing Solar system. Provide Power supply to the new equipment like MPFM and RTU, ESD etc.

Job Summary:

Detailed design connection drawings of all the Equipment used on the Offshore Platform, namely RTU, VSD (Variable Speed Drives), Step-up Transformers, Step-down Transformers, Electrical Submersible Pumps, ESD, Solar Powered Panels, Corrosion Inhibitor Unit, Anode Junction boxes, Harmonic Filter Units and Beacon & Navigational lights and the junction box details etc.

Perform basic calculations used in preparation of drawings such as Cable tray sizes, Grounding Cable sizes and lengths, Circuit breaker, Conduit sizing all as per Saudi Aramco & other Standards.

Coordinate with other Discipline Engineers regarding the design changes in the drawings to develop a perfect workable Electrical design and changes if any due to other discipline design changes.

The job included lot of responsibility for keeping track of the progress of both projects to achieve the in-time submissions of 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% IFC milestones, maintenance of Drawing control & record of drawings retrieval from Saudi Aramco, plus the day to day requirements of CADD Department and Checking of all the Saudi Aramco Standards. Specially guiding the CADD dept. with the CADD Standards of Saudi Aramco. Checked each drawing/random checks of Aramco standards.

Oil & Gas Dispatch Emergency Console-ODEC (Saudi Aramco) – Jeraisy, Saudi Arabia

ODEC project provided Emergency Communication Network for a fully functional system, which is ensuring the emergency handling through communication in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The ODEC system includes Switching Racks and Touch Screen Consoles for more than 156 site locations in the Eastern Province, Hawiyah Gas Plant and Shaybah Gas Plant. All the drawings for this project were submitted by me and all are accepted by Saudi Aramco.

Mobile Radio Network Consolidation-TETRA, Saudi Aramco–Jeraisy, Saudi Arabia

TETRA project provides a single, fully functional, integrated, multi-user, wide area, digital, trunked Mobile Radio System operating in the 800 MHz frequency spectrum for Saudi ARAMCO operations in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia, involving Engineering, Procurement & Construction. The Radio system includes Vehicle mounted radios (VMR), Hand portable radios (HPR) etc. Completed IFC 100% Submission of this project.
