Robotics Team

-Second-Fourth grade students meet weekly to learn coding for Botballs. Gifted and Talented Education

Test students and implement pullout program for the school Responsibilities: Test and audit all testing records to update gifted and talented records. Meet with First-Fourth grade students weekly for 1.5 hours to provide enrichment education to GT students. Create individual instructional programming plans for each gifted student and send them home for parents to review. All training over differentiation and needs of gifted and talented students for staff. Working with all staff that may need additional help with individual students who need additional differentiation. Instructional Coach– Western Heights Public Schools Coordinator for Success for All- Created and delivered all training for the Success for All program for both Reading and Math. Worked with teachers individually to help improve their art of delivering their instruction. Conducted classroom observations and individual meetings. Held weekly PLC meetings and training. Management of all Success for All rooms and materials for check in/checkout.

State Director of Gifted and Talented Education- Oklahoma State Department of Education Responsibilities: Conducted monthly zoom meetings with district Superintendents addressing changes to state laws and regulations affecting Gifted reporting and brainstormed ideas to improve their Gifted and Talented programs. Held bi-Monthly Zoom meetings with GT consortia and GT advisory board where improving Gifted and Talented education throughout the state was the main goal. Reviewed annual state reporting and auditing of school districts. Created and implemented training for Gifted and Talented coordinators and teachers throughout the state. Facilitator of Gifted and Talented Education – Yukon Public Schools, Yukon, Oklahoma Responsibilities: Management of Gifted and Talented budget for the district. Ordered all materials and testing supplies. Interviewed for all Gifted and Talented positions within the district. Grade band tested all second grade students district wide for Gifted and Talented. Annual review and maintenance of all gifted and talented records. Gifted and Talented annual state reporting. Yearly gifted and talented training for the district faculty. Individual work with teachers who needed assistance with differentiation for individual students. Quarterly meetings of the local GT advisory board for GT staff, parents and community members. Elementary STEM Friday Coordinator- 2019-2021, Yukon Public Schools Responsibilities: Management of rotation of STEM kits and budget for supplies of those kits. Creation of rotation for kits throughout seven elementary school Pre-K through 3rd grade classrooms. Kits rotated every nine weeks throughout the year and had to be restocked with supplies before each new rotation. Elementary Virtual School Principal, Yukon Public Schools Responsibilities: 2020-2021, Content Creator for our newly adopted virtual school curriculum, Florida Virtual. Created packets of printables for all students that chose to attend virtual school. 2021-2022 promoted to Virtual School principal. Monitoring Florida Virtual daily to assess student progress and contacting parents if students fell behind. Held weekly teachers meetings to discuss issues. DHS calls and child welfare visits. Coordinated twice weekly open Zoom tutoring sessions for at risk students with MS/HS virtual school principal. Interim District Assessment coordinator for 2021. 2
