Role: QA Engineer II

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive understanding of SDLC process and methodologies

Test complex web-based software and mobile applications in a cross products, platform, and browser environment.

Involve in usability, end-to-end, user acceptance and regression testing

Rate Rollovers project: I delivered Rate Rollovers project very successfully through various testing cycles. I did E2E validation for this project by thinking out of the box. I prepared Test Strategy and Test Results summary document for this project. This project is mainly on rolling over the loans approaching the rate maturity date for those loans without loan administrator’s assistance.

Statements project: Worked on Statements project which is having cross team dependencies. Communicated with all teams regarding the Statements validation. As part of this validation, I used SOAP UI tool to verify all the information fields in the Statements. I did database validations and ETL testing.

Commercial Experience project: I worked on this project by working on various module entitlements validation. I used different tools for validating this project like Swagger UI, POSTMAN, JSON Formatter, HP ALM on multiple scenarios. I used Selenium tool with Gradle framework for automating the scenarios on Java web application. I am also responsible for running Regression, Smoke test suites using Selenium tool. I validated this application in mobile versions using Perfecto tool.

Migrating CLASSIC application to Commercial Experience:

This project is about migrating the CLASSIC PINACLE application to Commercial Experience where I am responsible for application feature validation in both UI’s.

I am performing backend validation, REST API’s testing using POSTMAN, SOAP UI, Swagger UI, JSON Formatter tools to make sure the functionalities are working as expected. I used Selenium tool with QFaaS framework for automating the scenarios and responsible for maintaining the Regression and Smoke test suites.

Responsible for automating the API services using Karate framework for Integration and Regression testing and SPOC for representing the entire team for the application at domain level.

I validate this application in both web/mobile browsers using See Test tool.

Prepared a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for different types of transactions using various accounts as per the current state of workflow and future enhancements.
