April 8th 2019 to October 29th 2020:
Programme Associate- Revenue Assurance
Duties:
• I ensured the smooth running of billing related academic matters by ensuring that the bills generated against each pupil were of the correct value through a billing portal and also that the information displayed on various applications and programs related to pupil billing were correct and coordinated thus kept an account of company finances.
• I granted waivers, promotions and discounts offered to the pupils who qualified I was able to access the overall income generated and used within the company by preparing and presenting Termly and annual reports on the billing trends, waivers, promotions and discounts granted
• I kept a continuous record of all the promotions, waivers and discounts granted to each of the pupils by reviewing SQL reports which minimized loss of revenue to the company through billing errors and ensured continuous
documentation as this was uploaded to Google Drive.
• I was at the forefront of customer relations as I made follow up calls to parents and headteachers as pertained to pupil bill payment, waivers, discounts and promotions granted or rejected as reported on CRM. I also explained billing and waiver details to clients.
• I ensured customer satisfaction as I worked with the finance team to process refunds
• I minimized system downtime and made sure that all billing systems were running smoothly by reporting any software malfunctions that occurred as soon as they arose and followed up until they were resolved.
Accomplishments:
• Reduced the loss of company funds by back tracking all the promotions, waivers and discounts granted erroneously since 2018 thus recovered a significant amount of money.
• I was able to point out system errors that were then corrected leading to the smoother running of billing cycles
June 4th 2018 to April 6th 2019:
Quality Assurance Associate
Duties:
• Pupils received the best quality of education because I ensured adherence to company policy as I travelled all over the country and visited various academies on a day to day basis to check that they were following the rules and regulations that were set up as well as communicating to field staff on the changes in company policy and training them on these changes.
• I mitigated the loss of revenue to the company as I audited the mode of fee payment in each of the academies and prevented fraudulent head teachers from coning parents and pupils
• I was the communication link between Central Support Office staff and field staff as I conducted daily audits using the Survey to Go Application, wrote reports on observations made at academies during my visits and provided support to staff.

assessing customer satisfaction and acceptance

• I analyzed the situation in an academy and provided detailed reports that led to the improvement of academy infrastructure, culture and facilities.
Accomplishments:
• I came up with several different reporting procedures for water testing, daily reports and handovers as well as assisting in the perfection of water testing procedures this made certain that information was easily compiled and accessed which improved efficiency in the department.
August- September 2016:
Quality Control Attaché at East African Portland Cement Company (EAPCC)
Duties:
• I ensured high quality of cement produced by conducting experiments to determine whether cement samples were within the necessary quality control parameters such as titrimetric and gravimetric analysis on cement example wet method analysis, specific surface area( SSA), sieve test, free lime test, sulphate test, insoluble residue, loss on ignition and more.
• Improved my understanding on analytical instrumentation by analysing cement using various instruments such as the UV-Visible spectrophotometer and X-Ray
spectrophotometer.
• My department influenced the amount of raw material used in cement as we recorded and input data from the various analysis conducted in different instrumental programs that was then sent to other departments so as to correct proportions used ensuring coordination of teams involved. Accomplishments:
• Learnt good laboratory and safety practices.
• Leant proper work ethic and gained analytical skills. Gained exposure to use of laboratory instruments and the specific programs that run them.
