August 2022 to Feb 2024: - Bus driver at Premese Group of Schools (51-seater bus) I was employed as a Bus driver. During the early months of my employment, I noticed that my employer/school had no organized system of monitoring and gathering data for the school buses. I seized the opportunity and i created an excel worksheet, to gather data for all the school buses. I presented it indirectly to the management through the school accountant. The management noticed my effort and made me the senior driver and later I became the Transport Manager for the three Premese schools on the 08th of January, 2024. My duties’ were as follows;

● To supervise all drivers, allocate duties and train them on proper customer care.

● To manage all buses in terms of routes, repairs etc.

● To prepare and submit weekly reports on mileage, distance covered and fuel used.

● To keep records of buses and prepare the vehicles for inspections, insured, road service license, speed governor to enable the vehicles to operate on the roads safely.

● To come with new ideas on how to better the school transportation system.

● To come up with more efficient routes to ensure we save on fuel and time. November 2020 – March 2021: - Driver at Rhema Enterprises Ltd (Sales and distribution dept). 7-ton FRR Isuzu Lorry

I worked for Rhema Enterprises as a Truck Driver distributing various products to clients in the county of Machakos. My duties were;

● To safely drive the vehicle in a manner that would not endanger the life’s of other road users.

● Transport safely the salesmen on board to all the clients targeted for the day.

● To ensure goods and materials on board are not damaged during transportation.

● To ensure that we have enough goods and material in stock for our clients by keeping a simple data worksheet for stock control.

● To be vigilant on issuing of stocks; to thoroughly examine that the receipts tally with the goods issued.

● Achievements:

● I was able to control stocks levels for that period.

● There was no loss of goods and material on board due to stealing or transportation.

● No Reports of dangerous/reckless driving, accidents or damage to the vehicle was reported.

There were no reports of insubordination, mileage cheating or unworthy behavior by me reported in that period.
