Dear Andrew:

I am pleased to offer you employment with WestRock as Material Handler, reporting to me. The purpose of this letter is to describe the general terms and conditions of your employment with WestRock (or the “Company”). Should you accept our offer of employment, a mutually agreeable start date will be determined once you have successfully met the Employment Eligibility conditions set forth below. COMPENSATION

Your hourly pay rate will be $ 18.00 You will be paid on a weekly basis, specifically on every Friday. WestRock has two pay delivery options available to employees: (1) direct deposit, or (2) an electronic pay card. You will select one option and will notify WestRock of your choice. Please note, your first paycheck may be a paper check mailed to your home address. Your wages are subject to applicable deductions and withholdings. Your position is considered by WestRock to be non-exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act and any applicable state wage and hour law; therefore, you will be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with applicable regulations and advance approval from your manager will be required. BENEFITS

In addition to your wages, you will be eligible for benefits commensurate with the benefits offered to all other WestRock employees in a similar status, subject to any applicable restrictions or waiting periods. This includes a variety of benefits and group health insurance options, the premium costs of which are currently shared by employees and WestRock. Coverage under the health care program and participation in the 401(k) Plan begins after days of employment. Other benefits will commence as explained in plan documents. Information regarding benefit programs, employment policies, and guidelines are covered in the WestRock benefits orientation material and/or other that will be provided to you at the time your employment commences.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT/EMPLOYMENT AT WILL

This offer letter contains the entire understanding between you and WestRock and supersedes any prior representations, in any form, that may have been made regarding your prospective employment at the Company and may not be changed or modified in any way except in writing from an authorized representative of WestRock. Nothing contained in this offer letter is intended or should be construed as a contract for employment, either express or implied, with WestRock. Should you accept this offer of employment from WestRock, you understand that your employment will be on an at-will basis and is not for any fixed period of time. This means that either you or the Company can terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause.

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY

This offer of employment is contingent upon submission of satisfactory proof of your identity and your legal authorization to work in the United States. If you fail to submit this proof within three (3) business days of your start date, federal law prohibits us from employing you. In addition, this offer is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background investigation relating to your ability to perform satisfactorily the duties of your position as well as successfully passing a drug screen. If we are unable to receive the results of the background check and/or drug screen prior to your start date due to the impact of COVID-19, including its potentially long-term effects, on various systems (e.g., courts, record repositories, labs, and medical facilities), we agree that you may start your position with the company. However, WestRock will terminate your employment if the results of your final background investigation and/or drug test (completed and received after your employment has commenced) are not satisfactory or should the results materially conflict with information you provided during the hiring process. WestRock may terminate your employment for final background investigation results as consistent with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable law. Any disqualifying information that is uncovered post-hire that would have been disqualifying had it been known pre-hire will result in immediate termination.

By signing this offer letter and accepting this contingent offer of employment, you hereby release the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, and any entities or individuals who may provide the Company with information regarding your background, from any liability of any kind or nature in connection with requesting or providing such information. CURRENT AND PRIOR EMPLOYERS

WestRock is hiring you because of your skills, abilities and qualifications for the work to be performed. We are not hiring you in order to obtain trade secrets, confidential or proprietary information from any of your current or prior employers (collectively, “Confidential Information”). Accordingly, as we have indicated to you, you shall not bring with you to your employment, or use in any other manner, any Confidential Information from such current or prior employers. Therefore, please make certain that you return any such Confidential Information to your current or prior employers, if you have not done so already, before you commence your employment with WestRock. Further you agree that in the course of your employment with WestRock, you will not disclose to WestRock or use on behalf of WestRock any legally protected Confidential Information or documents of any current or former employer.

You have advised us and acknowledged that you are not a party to any type of confidentiality, non-compete, non-solicitation or other agreement between you and any current or former employer, or the subject of any court order that restricts or might restrict your employment or duties with WestRock.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

This offer remains open until May 03, 2023.
