Summary
I am an experienced RN of over 26 years, primarily in Women's Services, specifically Labor & Delivery, with exception of almost three years in which I worked as a Bariatric Coordinator and most recently I worked as a Clinical Instructor in Women's Services for over one year. I have loved my years of L&D, as well as the other experiences. For several years now, I have been trying to "step away from the bedside some" as well as to try something different, which is when I began my experience as a Bariatric Coordinator. Although that was a part-time position, it taught me many very useful skills which have been and will continue to be very useful in my future career paths. Following that position, I went back into Women's Services/L&D again, eventually began traveling Per Diem, then became a full-time travel RN as a Clinical Instructor in Women's Services. Although I loved teaching what my expertise is in, I have missed the patient contact. I would love an opportunity at such positions as RN L&D Educator/Coordinator or even Assistant Manager, OB Clinic position, or Bariatric Coordinator/Clinic position. I would also be more than happy to consider a remote position or a local contract position within these specialties, within the North Houston, Texas areas. I take great pride in accomplishing the goals I have set for myself personally as well as for the benefit of the company(s) or organization(s) I work for. In summary, I pride myself in being proactive in getting things done and getting them 1
done right the first time. I challenge myself to learn new things and to set new goals, always to be an asset to the company I work for as well as to the team I am working with, and most importantly, to the patients I (we) as a team care for. I truly appreciate your time and consideration in my experiences. If you feel I could be an asset for you as the employer, I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you. Listed below you will find my skills I have accumulated over the years with my various experiences, my work history, as well as my licenses and certifications. Again, thank you for your time.
Respectively,
Lori Dupere, RN, BSN, RNC-Inpatient Obstetrics
