Initial focus on increasing throughput and improving OTD performance while rebuilding the organizational structure.

Hudson Enterprises Wayne, New Jersey Owner 2017- 2022

Operations Management Consulting

Total business overhaul for 2 custom molded rubber hardware companies working in Aerospace and Defense industries. Strategic planning and rebuild of $10-20 million-dollar turn arounds. Reinvigorated functional organizations, business processes, and value streams.

Increased both shipments and sales by ending process roadblocks that lead to substantially increased OTD and bottom-line improvements. Raised sales 20% within 2 months by increasing customer awareness and holding the organization accountable for execution and process control.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics Caldwell, NJ Operations Site Lead 2014-2017

Designer and Manufacturer of Microwave Components and Subsystems for Military and Space applications

Site Leadership in an underperforming division of Crane Aerospace. P&L management, R&D, Sales and revenue growth, business process improvement, product quality, manufacturing operations, and customer service. Brought in to rebuild the organization producing AS9100 hardware. 280 employees on five shifts.

Core business turnaround of KPI's in low volume high mix environment. Revenue increased $14M to $27M. OTD 45% to 90%. GM to +45%. Past Due down $2.5M. Executed a Continuous Improvement Roadmap, standardized order entry process, streamlined supply chain portal and optimized material flows, cut build cycles by 40%. 2014 loss of $10.8 Million turned into +$800K per month. Key staff hires with new Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality managers.

Space Fence Production $50M Radar Program executed with intense, focused effort. Largest single program in Crane history required operation of a large capacity copper plating line, Multi spindle drilling machines, full up machine shop, photo lithography and etchant processes and CMM quality inspection tools. Site was running 24/7, producing ultramodern multilayer laminated structures for use in phased array radar antennas.

Harmonic Lightwaves Inc San Jose, Ca Director Operations/Facilities 1999-2013

Optical Network firm in the Cable TV space supplying Optical Components and Systems

Manufacturing leadership/direction to 165 staff. Delivered $1.7 billion in Optical networking gear over 15 years. 57 new products introduced into the manufacturing/supply chain. Drove customer quality across all product categories and surpassed all previous records – achieved 99% rating. Cut warranty repair times from over 90 days to < 21. Elevated on-time delivery from 50 to 95%, slashed and held 1st Year Failure rate of customer returns from 15% to <3%. --Reduced manufacturing cycle times / inventories / labor costs by 40% (~$15M) and decreasing OCOS by 45% (~$15M).

Managed $35 Million project creating a new 186,000 sq. ft. corporate campus. Consolidated 700 employees to new site that included 4 major labs, IT NOC room, and 20,000 sq. ft. Factory and offsite Warehouse. Project eliminated $4 million in annual rent and operating costs and combined three sites.
