I’m currently working at a guest house in the position of General Assistant (Housekeeping and Front of House).

Duties: Receptionist:

Responsible for keeping office supplies at requisite levels, procuring as necessary.

Processed online banking payments – foreign & local.

Managed maintenance, timeous servicing and licensing of 7 company vehicles.

Weekly stock-take, daily cash-up and procurement for coffee bar.

Conference coordinator:

Single-handedly successfully facilitated ALL conferences/workshops/meetings held at the UCT Lung Institute Conference Centre from 2001 to 2020.

Responsible for everything from initial enquiry and reservation of venue, through logistics queries, set-up, ordering and timeous serving of catering to end of event and clearing.
