Experience
March 2022 - Current
Safety Manager - Mill Creek Renewables (EPC)
My time at Mill Creek was spent managing the safety aspects of grid scale solar farms, with multi trade sub-contractors on site (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Blasting, Cranes, Directional Boring). I was responsible for all contractors on site and for managing their own company’s safety professionals. We provided turnkey projects to owners where I was expected to maintain a good working relationship to ensure the clients satisfaction in EHS. My duties included safety audits, observations, incident reporting, case management, incident investigation, daily and weekly reports, safety moments for all meetings, teaching orientation, first aid classes, and spotter training. I also hosted a weekly safety meeting with everyone on site where my team brought up good catches or areas of safety that need special attention. We have yet to have a lost time accident on any of my projects since starting at Mill Creek.
July 2019 - August 2021
Construction Supervisor- Paradise Construction
At Paradise Construction I was responsible for leading a team of workers in problem solving projects and completing them as planned in the proper time frame. Our work included concrete work, irrigation installation, heavy equipment operations, building ponds, and general civil/grading work.
June 2017- July 2020
Safety Tech - KRD Services
With KRD Services I served as a consultant for clients who hired us to come inspect jobsites to ensure they are in compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and ANSI standards. Behavioral based safety observations were conducted regularly, and data provided to the client to help them fix the issues that were found on their projects.
