Many families come from different Army bases, and they need resources to obtain help for their families. I volunteer my time weekly with the neurology clinic at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. I guide many families to find therapy and schools for their children's care.
As a mother of an Autistic child, I understand how difficult and frustrating it can be when you move. I am a military wife and know how difficult it can be to find care, and the time it takes for a family to get things in order. I tell the mothers my story and attempt to connect with them to find a solution and the proper care for the children coming to our community.
