Check equine daily for illness/injury, providing wound care when needed and working with veterinarian or farriers during visits/treatments. Manage breeding, foaling, worming, and halter breaking. Manage 7 stallions. Participate in trailer-training for transport. Regularly check and repair/build fences on 300 acres of land. Bush hog fields. Check power levels on electric fences daily. Distribute hay daily. Monitor wooded area (300 acres). Pick up feed/supplies from feed stores, tractor supply company and hardware/lumber stores. During cold weather, keep water and well running by monitoring and breaking ice in water tanks and ponds. Operate tractor, bush hog and various farm equipment.
