Maintain a watch on weather, monitoring and advising on major weather features which affect

or are likely to affect aircraft operations, (e.g. winds, precipitation, icing conditions, visibility,

thunderstorms, tropical storms of any kind and other associated weather phenomena).

Analysing and interpreting current weather situations by using standards FT (Forecast

Terminal), FC (Forecast Current), SA and SIGMETs (Significant Meteorological Information)

Consider airline cost analysis; operating and indirect costs, fuel, operations, EU261 (Flight

Delay / Denied Boarding Compensation) and passenger welfare in every decision you make

and support with statistics and accurate reporting as required to ensure the continued close

management of such costs

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of airports utilised across the group airlines to ensure you

can effectively evaluate airport entry requirements (night ban, noise-abatement, runway

conditions) supporting any required changes to the flying programme

Develop understanding and consideration of airport slot availability, liaising with TUI

scheduling teams on a regular basis, as well as maintaining slot portfolios based on company

and industry standard IATA guidelines

Develop and maintain an understanding of considerations specific to the operations of each

TUI airline including localised aviation infrastructure constraints, national or company

regulatory differences, employee agreement parameters, customer profile and service

expectations, and consider these factors and nuances in all operational decision making

Work as directed by the TOCC Operations Duty Manager to ensure focus on aspects of the

flying programme and fleet operations of the TUI Aviation airlines

working closely with the Senior Operations Officer, Senior Flight Planning Officer & Operations

officer; Network Duty Manager to ensure that easyJet delivers the highest possible service

levels for its passengers

Manage all flights in compliance with slot and curfew requirements, thus minimising exposure

to fines and legal Proceedings

Slots request, amend and cancel

Take all necessary steps to ensure a safe and punctual operation in accordance with the

Operational Manual

Monitor weather and proactively ‘Flight Watch’asyJet’s fleet of aircraft

Monitor emails and liaise with all other department to ensure smooth running of operations

control centre

Monitor ACARS and help Pilot in command or flight crew will all requests and support required

on-board

Post invoices and credit notes into AP system, ensuring adherence to procedures for tax

control and input validation.

Investigating invoice mismatches and understanding the different errors that occur, liaising

with the supplier and sourcing team in order to find the correct resolution.

Ensure payments are made to agreed supplier payment terms.

Reconciliation of balances in the AP system to supplier statements each month.

Maintenance of the Supplier Master file, including set up of new supplier accounts, credit

checks and VAT validation.

Developing a strong relationship with external suppliers, working together to resolve any

issues

Receive flight set-up for non-scheduled flights and create handling request for the relevant

flights

Obtain slots for non-schedule flights, and notify concerned departments of all

change/abnormalities of flights and/ or crew

Maintain flight schedule movement sheet up to date

Filing of operated flights documents (crew & flights)

Transmit General Declaration to handling agents and Brussels

Arrange crew travel when required through Saudia and/or other airlines

Provide assistant to crew as required in case of emergency
