Assist with Faculty Searches: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Ladder Rank Full Professors. Work with Search Committee to create job ads and venues to advertise.

Advises and assists Chair in all aspects of departmental operations, and provides continuity for the Department during personnel changes in the Chair's position.

Responsible for the management functions related to departmental services, staff supervision, and compliance with campus and systemwide collective bargaining agreements, emergency operations, ADA, and health and safety requirements.

Serves as departmental liaison to the Dean’s office, and other campuses' academic and administrative unit.

Compiles information and generates reports, charges, statistics, and graphs for the Dean using database and spreadsheet software. Analyzes and applies methods of data retrieval and report creation.

Assists faculty with recruitment, prepares start-up packages, and initiates paperwork related to the search.

Prepared Lecturers/Academic Coordinators’ Letters, Approval to teach, and Affirmative Action paperwork.
