PROOFREADING EXPERIENCES - ELABORATED:

• As a university/college professor in Academia who will return to the university teaching field, I proofread hundreds of students’ work from the years 2002 – 2014. My career as a university/college Academic proofreader began when I moved to South Korea to teach English as a second language, wherein I was required to be especially focused on revision, editing, and amending students’ work in the English language. I was later Chair of several Graduate Level research papers of which proofreading (along with the teaching of proofreading to students) remained high priority.

• Additionally while I was in Academia, I also composed, proofread countless curriculum design, department level, degree program, accreditation/assessment instrumentality, and subcommittee tasked documentations/forms for Strategic Planning, Cataloguing, Curriculum Proposals, Policy and Procedure, etc. Most times, these instances were in group/team effort (as the term, ‘—committee’ denotes).

• Since about 2012, I have been engaged in private enterprise toward the writing (and proofreading) of business proposals for numerous projects, publications. And I also create my own Graphic Design visual art content for several projects. These also demand the same caliber of proofreader standards.

• Personal friends, community members, and professional peers continue to refer to me to consult in many of their proofreading needs

(e.g., Letters of Recommendation, Cover Letters, Project Proposals, etc.)

• I also have some experience in composing/proofreading documentation in the legal realm (e.g., briefs, etc.).

• Not only do I have years of professional proofreading experience with Grammar, Punctuation, Linguistics, Vocabulary, I also have a particular eye and logic for ‘context’ and the appropriate terminologies/phrases/idioms/’one liners’ for each campaign, and the specific aplomb necessary for that project.

• I have a particular knack from correct vocabulary usage as well as logical structuring large documents within a papered project/process.

• I am directly involved in the international and commercial Art World. INTERNATIONAL STUDY ABROAD:
