Research Scope: Ibuprofen Transdermal Delivery via Microemulsion
• This research aimed at the creation and optimization of a transdermal drug delivery patch loaded with Aspirin as the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), to efficiently bypass the GI tract.
• I collaborated with a team of engineers together to perform literature reviews to determine fit of existing methods to apply to new drugs. Our goal was to enhance the efficiency and economics of drug delivery within the transdermal delivery pathway.
