**** ** **** – Chief Financial Officer - Livingston Enterprises, Inc., a developer, and manufacturer of remote access networking products for internet service providers. Responsible for accounting, planning, financial reporting, human resources, legal, facilities, and other administrative functions. Sales grew from $1.4 million in 1992 to over $100 million in 2000. Livingston was acquired by Lucent Technologies for $650 million.

1995 to 1996 – Chief Financial Officer - Asante Technologies Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of local area networking equipment for the Apple Computer environment. As CFO, helped develop and implement the company’s operational turnaround.

1988 – 1995 – Chief Financial Officer - Telebit Corporation, a publicly traded developer and manufacturer of wide area networking equipment. Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, raising venture capital, banking relations, M&A activities, and the company’s IPO. Telebit was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in 1995.

1981 – 1988 – Chief Financial Officer - Optical Specialties, Inc., a manufacturer of test and measurement systems for the semiconductor industry. Raised venture capital, participated in two acquisitions, established banking facilities, and managed financial operations including the company’s IPO, and SEC reporting.

1979 – 1981 – Financial Controller – Margaux Controls, Inc., a manufacture of energy management systems for the retail sales industry. Joined the company in the start-up phase, raised venture funding, established accounting and administrative systems, and banking facilities. The company was acquired by Hoffman Corp. in 1984.

1975 – 1979 – Senior Accountant, CPA – Arthur Andersen & Co., an international accounting firm. Clients were primarily in the field of high technology.

VASTECH (dba Cardio I.D.) – Assisted this early-stage company with development of a strategic business plan and participated in money-raising efforts. The company produced a kiosk for pharmacy customers to measure their vascular health. The kiosk included couponing generation giving customers discounts, while helping the pharmacy drive higher sales volume.

NEW LIFE CHURCH –– Became member of the board of directors and chairman of the board of trustees shortly after the startup phase. Assisted in raising over $15 million in bank debt to assist with the financing of real estate and construction for the planting of 15 campuses throughout Arkansas. Involved in strategic planning, developed financial reporting systems, and created ‘business cases’ for the justification of new church plantings.

EQUITY LAB PARTNERS – Assisted management of this start-up company with the development of a business plan, including analysis of the clinical laboratory market, financial projections, and an offering memorandum for potential investors.

ELITE CORE – Advised the company regarding long term planning, budgeting, and analysis of potential capital raising scenarios, in order to strengthen the balance sheet.

ARROW CAPITAL – Helped with the development of a business plan and offering memorandum to raise $25 million through sales of preferred stock, for this Silicon Valley-based venture leasing firm. Targeted customers included internet service providers seeking finance for the installation of communication servers and other networking products.

GRAINSTER – Facilitated strategic planning for this company during the startup phase. The product was a specialized brokering service for agriculture products (primarily rice), between farmers and foodservice distributors. Created a business plan and offering memorandum for fund raising. (In 2017, Ganister was named the U.S. winner in the Best Idea category of the Talent Unleashed Awards – judged by Steve Wozniak and Sir Richard Branson).

ARKANSAS ROOFING – Assisted this roofing installation company develop a strategic business plan along with a corporate capabilities brochure that was used in obtaining a franchise for the distribution and installation of louvered awning systems.

SWING SOLUTIONS – A company involved in the design and manufacture of video-based golf teaching equipment, and e-commerce services for the golfing industry. Assisted in the creation of a long-term business plan and offering package for prospective investors.

NATIONAL PLATINUM GROUP – Began consulting to this high-end assisted living company during the startup phase. Participated in strategy sessions, assisted in the creation of a business plan, and consulted on a number of operating issues.

MODUS ROBOTICS – Developed market analysis and drafted a comprehensive long-term plan for this provider of drone technology.

CBIT TEAM – As an independent broker for this M&A firm, consulted with small business owners regarding their strategic direction, including their exit plan. Educated owners regarding the business selling process and how to increase the value of their company.
