oProcurement Management Plan
i.Procurement management plans are documents that define a particular project scheduling requirements and lay down the steps required to get into the final contract. The plan sets out how the procuring organization will acquire the goods and services it needs.
oProject Charter
ii.A project charter is an important document that formally authorizes the existence of a project. It outlines the project’s purpose, objectives, scope, high-level requirements, key deliverables, project sponsor, and project manager’s responsibilities and authority levels.
oStakeholder Management Plan.
i.A Stakeholder management plan is a written document that outlines how the team plans to manage the and expectations of the key stakeholders and sponsor during the lifecycle of the project. A stakeholder is anyone who might be impacted by your project or has a business interest in how your project turns out.
oProject Schedule.
i.Provides a detailed schedule of a project’s activities. MS Project, or another scheduling software, is used to develop the schedule.
ii.All variances must be documented and approved in advance.
iii.Develop a plan for maximizing resources. It is key to manage resources properly and when possible, have the team cross trained. Teamwork is key!
iv.Ensure the timeline laid out in the project schedule and is detailed and realistic.
oCompliance Management Plan.
i.Compliance management is the process of monitoring and accessing systems for ensure they comply with corporate standards and policies.
oCost Management Plan.
i.A cost management plan is a document that helps you map and control a budget. It enables project managers to estimate their costs, allocate resources to the right areas, and control overall spending.
oii. Contingency Plan: Develop a well thought out plan with options for unexpected contingences.

oRequirement Management Plan.
i.It is critical that the project sponsor review and accept the initial requirements as well as any change or changes, that may arise during the project’s implementation.
ii.Requirements must be a detailed as possible to avoid and issues arising in the future. The project sponsor must sign an acceptance document detailing the project requirements.
oProject Meetings (In-Person and MS TEAMS)
i.There are many ways of conducting project meetings. They are typically in-person, online or via phone. All participants in project meetings, that require documentation, must be advised if the meeting is being recording or transcribed.
My last project was to upgrade US TRANSCOM’s Aruba Wireless Access system (NIPR and SIPR) with a Cisco Wireless Access system.
oReplace the existing Aruba Wireless system with a Cisco system.
i. Procure the Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLS’s).
ii.Configuration of the Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
iii.STIG the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller’s.
iv.Test the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller’s in the Common Test environment (CTE).
v.Install the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller’s.
vi.Test and Acceptance of the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller’s in dedicated locations.
oReplacement of the current Aruba Wireless Access Points with Cisco Wireless Access Points.
i.Procure the Cisco Wireless Access Points (WAP’s).
ii.STIG the Cisco Wireless Access Points.
iii.Configuration of the Cisco Wireless Access Points.
iv.Test the Cisco Wireless Access Points in the Common Test environment (CTE).
v.Install the Cisco Wireless Access Points.
vi.Test and Acceptance of the Cisco Wireless Access Points in dedicated locations.
oComplete project acceptance documents.
i. Obtain project sponsor signed acceptance of project completion.

I closed the company when I found out my wife had advanced brain cancer, It took a year for all the surgeries and treatments for her to recover. As a family, without knowing what would happen, I decided to close the company to all myself and my daughter be with my wife. We were fortunate, my wife was able to recover. We decided to move to the states as my daughter had a scholarship to attend St. Louis University. I returned to work in December of 2020.
