I am a dedicated psychologist looking to join a group practice using telehealth and part-time office services. My professional orientation is based on a developmental model, and treatment intervention primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing therapy for PTSD and other traumas. I have a postdoctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and am certified in the field of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, working with adults and children. I have had extensive training in Marriage and Family therapy. The main goal is to teach patients how to live in the moment and develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships.
For the last two years, I have been in private practice, providing telehealth interventions for individual therapy, group therapy, crisis interventions, psychological evaluations, and consultation with a psychiatrist and physician assistant on medication regulations. Behavioral analysis involves direct client observations across settings, review of behavioral data, and provision of a written functional behavioral assessment.
Trained as a child and adolescence psychologist provides me a foundation for treatment for individuals across the life cycle. This allows me to see patients from age five and all the way up to the individuals in their 90s. I have taken postgraduate studies in Behavior Analysis and psychopharmacology. I am an expert in the field of ADHD and work with both children and adults. I have also been trained in the evaluation of individuals who are on the autism spectrum disorder.
