Surveillance vendors/sub-contractors fabrication activities during fabrication & installation of the project. Carryout final inspections & produce report/punch list. Interface between construction and engineering group. Mark-up drawings as per site construction (As-Built)

Review/Assist in preparation of project specifications and technical documentation. Discuss /Explain project requirements to the sub-contractors. Project execution and pre inspection meetings.

Familiar with materials fabrication of Carbon steel, Low carbon steel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel, Copper nickel (CuNi), Duplex, Super duplex, PVC/ABS pipes, GRE pipes & AISI 4130.

Review / conduct the welding procedures, welder qualifications, welding consumables handling and storage requirements. Verify the weld maps, steel cutting plans, drawings are meeting the design requirements of the project. Ensure the sub-contractors are using the latest drawings and procedures during the fabrication & installation.

Monitoring and check the weld joints preparation (Fit-up), conduct dimensional checks prior to start welding. Make sure the weld performs in acceptable environmental conditions and as per the required procedures, qualified welders, use proper welding consumables. Monitoring pre-heat, inter-pass temperature & post weld heat treatment. Conduct visual inspections after cool down the weld zone to normal temperature.

Review nondestructive testing (NDT) plans, procedures and requirements for the project. Monitoring NDT activities, percentages and prepare progress reports. Review NDT reports, interpret RT films and endorsements.

Supervise/Monitoring of on-site installation process. Issue site modification drawings if there are any clashes occurs during installation. Verify the pipe line supports, gaskets, securing devices, bolt & nuts, structural brackets, beams as per the design.

Prepare / review of the weld traceability records prior to final inspection of pipe lines and structures. Make sure the weld joint numbers, spool numbers, welder IDs, materials heat numbers, NDT report numbers, WPS numbers and any other test requirements are correctly summarized and properly documented.

Prepare inspection and test records (ITRs), test packages & testing plan. Make sure all the required ITRs, mark-up drawings, punch list forms, testing accessories are recorded properly. Verify and closeout Mechanical Completion Records (MCs) as required.

Carryout final inspections of pipe lines, structures, foundations, vessels, heat-exchangers supports, instruments, valves and directions are installed and secured as per the schematics, P&IDs, arrangement drawings.

Raise / Prepare punch lists and issue to the sub-contractors to follow-up. Maintain data base summary record of the punch lists. Verify all the punch items are completely attempted and rectified as per given category A/B.

Witness / verify pressure testing of pipe lines, tanks & pressure vessels to required pressure. Verify the pressure gauge and pressure recorders calibration certificates are valid. Check for the items if there is any leaks occur during testing. Check the high and low points vents are provide, valves and instruments are removed during testing. Maintain the testing completion summary up to date and update project team.

Check the re-instatement of the systems after the satisfactory of the pressure testing. Check the instruments, valves are re-installed, testing blanks are removed, spools are re-installed. Completed systems are released to the commissioning team.

Review and maintain manufacturer data records (MDRs) all the records comply with contractual obligations.

Conduct audits as per the client requirements and comply with ISO requirements. Prepare audit check lists, audit plans and audit reports. Organize audit opening and closing meetings. Audit the subcontractors are fulfil the ISO certification standards. Verify the in process documentation & maintaining records.

Review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, plans to comply with project requirements & specification standards.

Prepare and issue nonconformance reports (NCR) and maintain logs. Review subcontractors NCRs and Corrective action reports (CARs). Ensure that sub-contractors are taking proper corrective actions for the issued NCRs.

Carryout incoming inspection for ship equipment’s. Ensure that the delivery items are correct and free from the damages.

Conduct QA/QC meetings with subcontractor QA/QC teams. Attend for site / construction and VSCC meetings

Supervise / Lead team inspectors. Assign inspection assignments to group inspectors. Review Inspectors deliverables, analyze and resolve issues and problems emerging during the quality control activity.

Prepare and issue Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to vendors / sub-contractors. Prepare inspection reports and work procedures as required by the projects specifications, codes and standards.

Review the vendor equipment’s specification prior to procurement. Conduct audits in vendor premises prior to fabricate the equipment. Witness Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) as required.

Verify/inspection of incoming materials to comply with the project requirements, specifications, drawings, applicable standards and classification requirements.

Coordinate with the project certification / classification surveyors for the ongoing construction daily inspections and witness as per the classification body requirements. Follow up with third party surveys, welding inspections, load tests, pressure tests, system inspections, fire and safety escape plans, load/draft/under water markings, equipment’s/systems commissioning, hull and tanks final inspections, materials verification, nondestructive testing (NDT) witness / review reports, till the satisfaction of the classification body requirements.

Inspecting materials as per applicable code & specification requirements and to ensure complaints with client requirements. Review Material Receiving inspection and Verify calibration status of inspection and testing equipment is valid.

Check Fit-up and Weld visual inspection as per QC plan of fabrication like Material Identification, fit up, weld visual, NDT clearance, Dimension as per the approved QAP, specification and relevant standards.

During inspection ensures the integrities of equipment by visual inspections, carrying out NDT methods of UT, RT, MT, and PT depending on the requirements of the status of equipments.

Supervision and Co-ordination of NDT Jobs as per project quality plan.

Review / Witness / Qualifying of WPS, PQR & WQT packages.

Witness for mechanical, destructive, chemical, corrosion testing and analytical approach to welding of base materials such as Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Duplex, etc.

Review ITPs, NDT procedures.

Radiographic film interpretation and Review the Reports.

Monitor & Reviewed of all NDT works &reports PT, MT, RT, UT, PMI, and PWHT according to Project ITP.

Define System Subsystem Boundary markup for all the Mechanical system and allocate the same for the Equipment's and Piping's.

Prepare Multi Discipline ITR Index and ITR Matrix for the project.

Conducting Project quality audits to verify the requirements are met as per company and Customer requirements

Coordinate & Lead Tri-party walk down with contractor, Operations and client for all project phases. Ready for commissioning (RFC), Ready for Handover and Ready for operation.

Coordinate the Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on daily basis require for a sub system to reach the RFC status including RFC dossier reviews, RFC walk down with tri-parties, prepare the punch list and coordinate to get RFC certificates.
