I am seeking a job opportunity as a General Farm Worker in order to be provided with various on-farm duties and/ or related tasks where i can undertake different agricultural value chain practical activities given that I am mentally and physically fit. SKILLS

Knowledgeable in the agricultural practices such as land preparation, crop planting, fertilizer application, thinning, pruning, weeding, staking, harvesting, and post-harvest management.

Skilled in fruits, vegetables, and tubers sorting and parking.

Experienced in loading, unloading and transferring crates, supplies and farm produce.

Experienced in vegetables and fruits harvesting using hands.

Knowledgeable about farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security as per need.

Skilled and experienced in vegetables production in greenhouse.

Skilled in fruit seedlings grafting techniques.

Knowledgeable and skilled in pests and diseases control using the integrated pest management methods.

Skillful and experienced in tomatoes and cucumbers production in greenhouse (planting, hand weeding, pruning, irrigation, staking, harvesting, and parking).

Crop irrigation infrastructures’ maintenance at the level 1.

Experienced in both team working and sole styles. PROFESSION EXPERIENCE:

SERICULTURE EXTENSION TECHNICIAN: 2019- Present

National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB), Rwanda.

Loaded and unloaded the mulberry trees for nurseries establishment by using hands.

Managed the mulberry Seedlings including manual weeding, watering, fertilizer application, pest and disease control and transplanting the seedlings to the farmlands.

Performed the silkworms rearing activities such cleaning the rearing materials, feeding silkworms, and fresh harvesting at production center.

Loaded the fresh cocoons in order to move them to the silk processing factory. ON-FARM WORKER: 2015-2016

Pruned the citrus fruit trees with aid of a pruning saw.

Girdled the citrus trees by using hand with aid of a tabor tool

Weeded the orchard using hands along with hoes.

Netted the citrus trees by using hands for protection against heavy rain and snow chocks

Repaired the irrigation pipes
