I have a 1 year of experience as a warehouse associate at prestige warehouse Hamilton . My role there was-

Observe all laws and regulations pertaining to health and safety when carrying out your employment duties.

Drive a forklift and other material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and

Receiving responsibilities consist of Once vendor shipments or customer returns are unloaded, make sure you check the material received by obtaining the packing slip.

Make a note of any errors or damaged content.

Print the documents, check that the computer received them, then input the information into the computer system.

Determine what is damaged and special order material, then store it in the appropriate place.

On the freight carrier's Bill of Lading, make note of any shipment inconsistencies.

Then, start a freight claim and send the necessary documentation to the right team member.

Counting and comparing things to the shipping paperwork, as well as selecting materials for client orders, are examples of picking, packing, and shipping duties.

Completely assemble the stuff and package it for customer pickup or delivery.

Complete paperwork for any shipments that need to be transported with dangerous goods documentation or that are being delivered by a third party carrier.

Notify the supervisor of any disparities in the inventory and any damaged or defective materials that could affect the quality of customer service provided.

Keep the warehouse safe and tidy by getting rid of pallets, empty boxes, metal banding, and other garbage.

Report any safety concerns to the profit center manager or warehouse supervisor.

Help colleagues at the counter by providing customer service.
