The project involved creating Bureau Reporting Submission flat files that are sent periodically to various reporting entities. Most reporting entities require two types of submissions: Premiums (or coverage) and Losses. Premium and Loss ETL is generally kept in separate folders in the Informatica repository. The Flat File designs to generate data for commercial Auto Information submission using Bureau reporting data mart tables. This process will extract data from Bureau reporting data mart to report commercial vehicle transactions.

The core of submissions architecture consists of two tables for each submission – the SUBMISSION HISTORY table and the BUILD HISTORY table. SUBMISSION HISTORY stores historical records formatted in the manner defined by the various reporting entities. Resubmissions for any given period are versioned. BUILD HISTORY stores the supporting detail extracted from the Bureau Reporting datamart and used to create those submission records. Each table carries foreign keys from its source to enable data to be traced back to the originating system.

Finally create flat file from SUBMISSION table and FTP any flat file output to the Stat Reporting team.
