Kone Websites solution consists of around 160 + country website and corporate website featuring the Kone products and provides end to end support for all country managers, marketing specialist across APAC, MEA and US regions to enable their website marketing, campaigning, social media advertising etc

It is a complete framework based on SDL Tridion Sites 9.1 CMS technologies with the backend framework written in .Net and DD4T, the overall architecture consist of Content API services which pull data from Broker DB and collate them on the presentation server, we also have ApachMQ to support queuing and notification

For accelerated CDN we use Akamai to deliver across the globe

China being a emerging marketing we also maintain a separate infrastructure in mainland to increase sales, tools used for the same are AWS China, CD networks

Project Description:

The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world. It is one of the world’s largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries.

HCL developed the iPortal application which is the gateway to all the IFC business systems and information necessary to process a deal throughout the life cycle of a project – from client information to operational data.

The primary scope of the project was to migrate the legacy iDesk application pointing to Oracle Db to iPortal application which is data modelled to work on Postgre

Wave 1 of the project scope was to migrate 13 different banking templates; this migration also includes service conversion from Java to WebAPI oData services

Also, as the existing application had to work in parallel, we had to create an interface layer which will sync the downstream systems like ACBS, ODS, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

●Worked with the Client, Business team and Architect team to understand the scope and gathered the requirements

●As the application works on a multi-vendor system with multiple vendors from TCS, Birla Soft and CTS teams I had to sit with Product owners to do the iDesk impact analysis for Oracle decommissioning
