PRD Ventures is a consulting and operating company. Currently it has three pizza restaurant operations, 11 Whataburger locations (Whataburger Inc is operator) and recently sold 3 Phoenix Cafes. The operations of the pizza franchise was inherited due to poor management by the previous operator. This is a CiCi’s Pizza Franchise that currently owns three stores located in Baton Rouge LA. and Hattiesburg MS. Currently consulting for JWB Ventures Owners in Jacksonville FL., (a Whataburger landlord of 11 locations). These stores were operated by JWB Ventures LLC until June 2010 when the operations were purchased by Whataburger Inc. Also have consulted with groups purchasing Proctor and Gamble’s new Tide Dry Cleaners, CiCi’s Franchises, Whataburger Franchises and a Major League Baseball Concept.
JWB VENTURES, LLC - Jacksonville, Florida (2003-2008)

JWB Ventures, LLC was a franchisee of QSR restaurants in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. JWB had agreements for 36 restaurants. KW Management was the company that operates JWB Ventures and 2 other concepts.

Opened three highest volume weekly stores in brand 60 year history
The partners split in 2010 and the operations were sold to Whataburger Inc. KW Management was disolved at this time and I took over the responsibility of the physical locations and JWB Ventures Owners (the real estate of the Whataburger stores).

Major responsibilities were the operations of all stores, establishing and managing the infrastructure to maintain consistency, accountability of financial results and management of Operations, Training, Development and Franchise Services departments. Major accomplishments were:
Led company operations to 36 consecutive quarters of same store sales increases as V.P. and Sr. V.P. of Operations
Reduced G&A by $2.2 million through reduction and consolidation
Developed a new Franchise growth program after a 20 year hiatus
Directed the writing of and managed the FDD (UFOC), identified new markets, developed a system for qualifying franchisee applicants, directed a multi functional team from Brand Management, Operations, Development, and Franchise Services in recruitment, qualification and market development
V.P. Operations and Regional V.P. Operations (1987-1998)

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for all company unit operations and the development of markets. Reporting to the VP of Operations are the Regional VP’s. A Regional VP oversees 100 to 120 units in a large geographical area and has local marketing, HR, finance and staff support to assist the operations personnel. Major accomplishments were:
Implemented a General Manager Compensation program that increased gross operating profit by 20% and sales increases of 50% in 5 years.
Selected and implemented a tailored back office and POS system that automated order taking, improved order accuracy and detailed reports
Created an employee training incentive program that became an annual training event and included all company disciplines. It has become the center piece of the bi-annual company convention.
Developed relationships with various sports teams and colleges that resulted in having operations in arenas with the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, S.A. Spurs, Texas Rangers, ASU, Texas A&M and numerous smaller colleges.
