Ebonics in Adult Education

Presented at the 9h Annual African American and Hispanic Conference of Northern Illinois University, April 15, 1999.

This was a seminar presented dealing with the issue of Ebonics being used in Adult Education. Attendees were interested in understanding Ebonics and why it was a controversial subject in 1997. A historical overview of Ebonics was presented along with the critical analysis and explanation of Ebonics as a controversial issue.
