Provided Production leadership for an ISO 9001/14001/IATF16949 certified, 225-employee, Make-to-Order (MTO), Just-in-Time (JIT), $56 million, Tier 1 Assembly Plant for the Commercial Vehicle Market. Primary customers: Daimler, PACCAR, Navistar, Caterpillar, and Volvo. Responsible for following areas: safety, quality, production, supply chain and logistics.

On Time Shipment 95.3% to 99.8%; PPM 174 to 42; SPPM 14,053 to 356; and 0 Lost Time Accidents.

Achieved $650K of cost savings from restructuring.

Reduced scrap by 75% and premium freight by 51%.

Reduced inventory ~45% from $5.8M monthly to $3.2M, while sales increased. Turns from 8 to 13.6.

Converted Linear Assembly Lines to Balanced U-Shaped Cells resulting in $386k of cost savings.

Implemented S&OP to improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory, improve customer satisfaction.
