Principal Engineer

I provided technical support and services to the Department of Justice, Executive Office for the United States Attorney's, Telecommunications and Technology Development Group and the Network Operations Services WAN group for JUTNet.

JUTNet (Justice Unified Telecommunications Network) is an AT&T Goverment Solutions managed service. It is a DMVPN AES encrypted MPLS IP VPN private network. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 with redundant circuits and equipment sets at critical locations. It has a single point of contact central network management facility for all services and hosts web based applications for management of the network.

I managed the day to day operations of the JUTNet data network. I provided notification of network events that are service affecting, troubleshooting and problem resolution support to Government staff, NOS staff and US Attorney District Systems Managers for the 254 location JUTNet data network throughout the world.

I provided assistance as needed for maintaining the NOS internal network management platform, SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor application along with the current WAN accelerator platform implemented at all locations.
